Fayette County Firemen's Past Presidents Banquet
Wow! You all should have been at the Firemen's Banquet on Sunday the 16th!
There were fireworks and their were duds!
Some of us were their to honor the dedication of a 100 year old man who has been a firemen for 79 years, Mr. Debolt!!!!!!
Others were there to get free face time with Ed Rendell (Mahoney and Kula).
Let's talk about the duds...Rendell came in late, a little over 30 minutes late and then rudely announced that he only had time to make a quick speech and eat, then he would have to leave.
So, he was announced to a standing ovation...oh, wait, a standing ovation of 8 people and those were the people who came into the banquet with him.
Most of the firemen did not stand or even clap. I think I heard some boos, too.
Of course, this is Steeler Country, so it is Swann Country, too.
Now, the fireworks...Bill DeWeese was sitting and eating with Tim Mahoney and Deberah Kula.
Well, Ron Gallo was trying to take pictures and DeWeese took offense to the fact that he might have been in one of the pictures while he was sitting and talking with Mahoney and Kula.
DeWeese was IRATE! I thought he was going to beat up Mr. Gallo. DeWeese called over the Fayette County Sheriff and every thing. It was crazy!
DeWeese wouldn't let it drop. He approached Mr. Gallo several times! I told Mr. Gallo that he better destroy those pictures and sleep with a gun at night or he might get knocked off or something.
Ok, for those that don't understand why a "strong and powerful" 30 year politician like DeWeese doesn't want his picture taken with Mahoney and Kula is because Mahoney and Kula are telling the voters that they have no ties to the Fayette Democrats, like Lebder and DeWeese.
Mahoney has said that he wouldn't support DeWeese and he supposedly didn't cash a campaign donation from DeWeese.
Kula has also stated that she has no ties to Fred Lebder or the old school Fayette politics, even though she has accepted $8000 from the Heinz-Kerry family whom doesn't even live in the 52nd District.
Supposedly, Mahoney and Kula want the voters to think that they are trying to clean up politics by bringing changes to Harrisburg, by being "free thinkers", but how can you be a free thinker when a man who has ran Fayette Politics for almost 70 years handpicked you to be the Democratic candidate before the Primary election?
Someone needs to come clean to the voters.
There will be at least 2 debates in the near future.
Then the people will see, which candidate is truly For The People!
Vote Earnesty!
The Working Man for the Working Family!
Until Next Time...Have a Great Day!!!
