A Very Very Busy 3 Weeks Since My Last Post
First off, let me apologize for not updating the Vote 4 Earnesty Blog, but the Earnesty family has been very busy.
Let's start with Memorial Day weekend, my children and I went around to the local cemeteries to put flowers on the graves of our deceased relatives.
We also enjoyed Connellsville's Memorial Day Parade, where I met a gentleman who tried to persuade me to campaign during the parade, but I had to explain to him that Memorial Day is not a day to campaign for votes, but a day to remember our fallen heroes, so I gave him my cell phone number and told him to give me a call.
I personally can not stand it when politicians campaign on holidays, that's why I say that I am NOT a politician.
The week following Memorial Day was packed with my children's softball and baseball games and of course 40 to 60 hours of work every week this month.
On Sunday June 3rd, I went to the American Legion District meeting and met some great Veterans. The Legion have been doing some great things taking care of our homeless vets, our vets that are in nursing homes and the VA hospital, and of course the families of our fallen brothers. I am very proud to be a member of the American Legion.
We need to have more veterans in state office and I am proud to be one of a few veterans running for office.
Of course another week of baseball and softball. I am glad I can volunteer for the kids.
I will do a separate post soon to let everyone know what my son and I did this weekend.
Until Next Time...Have a Great Day!!!
